On October 11, 2024, the Central City Library of Almaty hosted the Republican Literary Project "Үш бәйтерек," organized by the Almaty City Department of Public Development and the Center for Public Development. The event commemorated the 130th anniversary of prominent Kazakh writers Saken Seifullin, Ilyas Zhansugurov, and Beimbet Mailin, engaging 8th and 9th-grade students from various educational institutions (state, republican, and private) across Almaty.

The project comprised two stages:

- Stage I — an online essay competition on assigned topics;
- Stage II — a literary reading nomination, where participants recited their own poems or works by the three writers with expressive delivery at the city library.

Approximately 150 students from Almaty city and region participated. As a result, seven students and Askar Gulnaz Bolatkyzy received special letters of appreciation from the organizing center.
